Admission: Admission shall be done on merit based on marks obtained in Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent. There are 50 seats in each institute. All seats (100%) of constituent colleges (CVAS, Bikaner, institute code 01, 48 to 51, and 66) and affiliated Government institutes (Institute codes 22, 31, 38, 47), as well as 85% of seats in affiliated private institutions, shall be State seats and filled by merit-cum-reservation as per the rules.
Minimum Eligibility Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, or any recognized institute with the following optional subjects:
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, OR
- Agriculture stream subjects (with Biology as one of the optional subjects).
Minimum Age:
The minimum age for admission is 17 years as of December 31st of the admission year. The maximum age limit is 28 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, OBC & SBC boys and general category girls, and 10 years for SC, ST, OBC & SBC girls.
Allocation of Seats:
The reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/PH and other categories will be as per the Government of Rajasthan's rules, applicable to Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner.
